Florian has used Django since 0.96 -- for nearly everything from small internal projects to bigger ones like ubuntuusers.de, which is the official german forum/wiki for Ubuntu with 100,000 users. For the last year he has studied “Technical Physics” at the university of technology in Graz/Austria. He also works on Django projects as freelancer.

Whenever he can save some time between work, exams and laboratories he is out with friends, playing with stuff like OpenCV (or at least he tries; facial recognition turned out to cause more problems than expected) and HTML 5 Web Sockets, or is helping out others in Django's IRC channel.
